DESFA’s many years of experience in the construction of high, medium and low pressure NG projects, as well as its organization, and operating principles, ensure a high-level certification process and contribute to the quality improvement of projects.

Certification services include:

• Certification of measuring equipment

• Welder Certification: Provision of certification services, acting as certification body for polyethylene (PE) welders for all polyethylene NG distribution networks projects with a maximum pressure of 4 bar. The certification process includes:
  – Theoretical examination
  – Test piece construction
  – Pneumatic and destructive testing
  – Filing of the test piece construction weld logs, testing on welded polyethylene pipes and fittings, and the PE-metal connections
